A very little car doodle:
An Orc archer, 20% was my son draw and my lines are over those:
Something with two faces:
Another wedding party, a new bunch of drawings on requests:
- Loch Ness monster and BMW tank:
- Spartan and nephew caricature:
Tango classic and some party buddy:
A 2 layer technique applied on traditional medium, a transparent vellum sheet, one face its a graphite pencil the other face its soft pastel and its scanned with graphite close to the scanner to make the pastels more blurred:
I don’t check the anatomy, its just a test of this technique:
Inspired by Heather Hudson Monster a day blog I remember how fun is to do monsters, the liberty to do anything its irresistible:
And a 15 minute doodle of a man who stay on front of me in bus… his look is a worried one because I stare at him from time to time and he don't know why I do that, I was behind someone and he don't see my sketchbook:
The most important thing if I want to do comics its to know how to keep characters attributes when they turn:
Another head doodle:
Another old drawing:
A sketch I draw in the waiting turns from Medieval Total War: Shattered Steel add-on:
And an old drawing, as you can see like all the kids of my age I was Star Wars dreaming, X-FighterCarrier :
CgTalk Daily Sketch 1927 NTL "Disney's Dark Princesses":
CgTalk Daily Sketch 1922 55mn "Full Sail":
And the old drawing:
This will be the waterfall, it look like a women now, I hope I can say the same after I transform her in water:
& one of my old drawing from when I was like 18th:
I tracing my own drawing because I heard its a good method to autocorrect and learning by seeing and repairing mistakes:
And another 20 years or more old drawing, a pilot helmet:
I take a more aggressive approach on the pastel girl, more than that it become messy so I call this final:
And now, another old work, and when I say old I mean that… 15 years or more, what I done in the last 15 years ?! Nothing artistic wise , more than a decade of pause from this hobby, I follow engineering programming path because I cant make a living from doodles or painting like this one (oil on wood – after Nicolae Grigorescu – romanian impressionist):
I stay on the back seat of the bus and try to doodle passengers… because of the bad condition of the road just one its postable:
Olds:
An imaginary for the new WoTC expansion:
"Jwar, the Isle of Secrets lies near the southern coast. Huge granite heads loom half-buried in the earth, and a beam of pure blue light can be seen shooting straight up out of the island. But no explorer has yet uncovered the source of the light."
And an old drawing:
I detailed a little the fire composition, next is the dragon itself…
And of course another little oil on canvas, oldies but… rusted:
This time I follow the classic dragon view, colour study:
And the old, a comic strip, something related with Sodoma and Golgotha thrashed away by a nuclear bomb from the future:
This is my style of work when i want to draw something really new, I just do lines doodles and try to build something from… if I have luck I found interesting ideas but mostly brain fart junk like this one:
Thank god I have my old drawings ready to be scanned, a drawing after an oil by romanian impressionist artist Nicolae Grigorescu “Portretul domnisoare MARIA NACU”:
A dragon-dragonflies:
And one, viral, somehow trying to eat his own wings:
Like always an old drawing:
This is an old drawing…
The same monster head now, it show a little evolution, bus doodle:
And of course another women doodle… what can I say… I like them:![]()
The task was to paint the head sculpt but like you see I was more fascinated by the head of the women in front of me who make a sketch of that roman head...
Because the first one was everything but blessing, I try another one, now this one look more like a healing procedure… oh
So I am back from one week holiday, swimming activities mostly… Just one drawing with 0.35mm mechanical HB in a little Fabriano sketchbook, first one.
This is my first BD... just pencils... of course the words are maybe wrong because I learn english mostly by watching Cartoon Network...
My first sumission for Illustration Friday pure graphite no eraser… this week's topic is: Tango
This days I take a break from my daily drawing routine to play with my first car, I must learn to drive this baby…
If you dont see a sniper, a racoon and Chuck Norris with his treasure, fighting... then be ready to be roundkick-obliterated from the face of the earth.

A drawing who maybe I trace in ink later… no reference (its obvios because the upper body and arms are bigger than normal) but of course the weapons are X-related.
And of course, after they see the car drawing they ask for more, to draw a dog, then a tree, then a bunny… (so the pipes are wrong perspective wise so what... the kids dont know thar rule)
